About Classes
Latino Rock Dance School teaches at four different locations each week covering Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
What happens in a class?
Each night starts with an Intermediate lesson, for students who have been dancing for more than 8 weeks. This is also a great class for Beginners to watch.
After the Intermediate lesson we have the Beginner's Lesson. This is taught as a three week routine to give Beginners revision and give them a greater chance of remembering our dance moves. Everyone participates in this lesson as it is a great way to meet all the dancers. During the class some of our better students will be only too willing to help.
After the Beginners lesson, everyone can get up 'to do their own thing'. This is a great time to practice the moves that have been taught, or to enjoy a dance with a friend. You can also have a cold drink or a complimentary tea or coffee. We may also finish the eveing practising other dances we have taught such as Cha Cha, Rock'n Roll Waltz or El Paso and others.
Please wear casual smart clean clothing loose fitting preferable spare shirt for (perspiring hot bodies). Leather soles preferred, or sneakers.
Friday night is party night. After class we stay back and party/dance. BYO drinks and snacks and start the weekend early.
